In 2021 there were 60 90th percentile or better (0.235) mVAL games from a running back. Jonathan Taylor’s Week 11 performance (204 total yards, five touchdowns and 15 first downs) was the highest game of the regular season by mVAL (.474) by a running back.
Terrell Davis (.222 mVAL per game) has the highest mVAL per game all-time among running backs, followed by Jonathan Taylor (.198). Emmitt Smith (41.92) has the most mVAL all-time among running backs as of this writing; he averaged .173 mVAL per game, but enjoyed a long productive career.
