Pickett is being thrown right into the fire as an NFL starter facing Buffalo on the road this week, but I think he’s still 100% a Buy. He looked head and shoulders better than Mitch Trubisky against the Jets. Regardless of the quality of his play, I think his price is bound to increase just simply due to playing.
If you look at other young QBs around the NFL, there’s only room to improve. The cheapest starting QB in his 2nd season is Justin Fields at $24.93 and he’s been a massive disappointment. Pickett is an excellent buy with plenty of upside.
Wilson had a very interesting first game back for the Jets. He was inconsistent and missed a couple of wide-open targets for big plays. But, he stepped up when it mattered most and the Jets a win!
He’s up 4.83% in the last week and I think we see his stock continue to rise. There couple be bumps in the road as he shakes off the rust, but I expect him to produce with his quality weapons. Wilson also attempted 36 passes on Sunday which is an encouraging sign for his usage.
The next TB12? Just kidding, but rookie QB Bailey Zappe did look sharp in his NFL debut Sunday. This is what Mojo is all about: Brian Hoyer is out and Zappe rises 24% with an impressive performance.
Who knows what his future could look like? Maybe he’s the NFL’s next diamond in the rough. All I know is it was a lot of fun to see Zappe duel with Aaron Rodgers in the elite QB matchup we’ve been looking for all season.
No one has impressed me more this season than Lawrence. Doug Pederson has changed the culture of this Jaguars team and Lawrence has been the primary beneficiary.
Christian Kirk and Lawrence have been a Dynamic Duo and Lawrence looks like a totally different QB so far this year. I think we’re seeing the early stages of a phenomenal career as the Jaguars begin a new chapter.
